The Line of Lode Miners Memorial in Broken Hill is a poignant tribute to the miners who lost their lives in the mining region’s mining history.

The enormous steel structure overlooks the city and features glass panels etching the names of over 800 miners who perished since mining began in 1883.

The memorial is a striking piece of architecture. It also offers breathtaking views of Broken Hill.

Also found within the precinct is the Line of Lode Cafe/Restaurant, which offers inside panoramic views of Broken Hill and beyond. The cafe is open 7 days a week from 8am.
